Thinking of you

I enjoy making cards. I still have a lot to learn about making cards and I feel like I am a lot better at scrap booking then cardmaking but everyone seems to like my cards.
So here is a pretty simple card.

The card sketch came from CTMH Make it from your heart volume 1 pattern number 30
using White daisy, Olive, and Brushed papers
I used CTMH Pixi, Sweet Leaf, and Topiary inks

The Stamp set I used is Pretty Petals (C1599)

I love this stamp set. Since I live in a house of boys I don't get to scrapbook very many girly things. So I enjoy making girly cards.

Just like Mommy and Daddy...

The next two layouts I love the way they turned out. My son loves to do and try what mommy and daddy have. When he was younger we drank a lot of coke. He got a hold of an unopened can and try to drink some. He doesn't like soda and I am trying to keep it that way. I am proud to say that I stopped drinking any type of soda a year ago. I have an occasional soda but not on a daily basis and I feel so much better with out it. Sorry got side tracked.

Here are the layouts I have for you today.

10 Months

During my son's first year I took a picture of him with the same teddy bear. As a way to see how much he changed and grew from month to month. Every month got a little bit harder as he got older and more wiggly he was, is always on the move.

With this layout I inked the paper that the pictures are attached to.
I think it added a little more to the layouts.

Pumpkin Patch

I love fall. Fall is my favorite time of year I am just not ready for it this year. In these two layouts I have to share with you today are from Alex's first trip to a pumpkin patch! It has become tradition now.

Again I am using my stash up so not sure what papers these are the stickers are from creative memories I love the  details of them! As I grow as a scrap booker I have moved away from stickers but sometimes you just need that extra something. It has to be the right sticker. I am picky about what I use. But I am very pleased with the way this layout turned out.

I have become a horder when it comes to scrap book supplies. my room is FULL of all sorts of goodies they are tucked everywhere. shhh don't tell my husband, if he only knew what I have. Although he has banned me from getting anymore supplies till I use some up. Which is what I am working on doing.

He loves to have fun in the tub!

Scrap Book Project

I just finished my 2011 scrap book last month! I know I am a few years behind, but I will get caught up soon, well that is my plan anyways. Football season is upon us and since my husband is the kind of person that watches all the games he can, that is when I get to go play in my scrap room.
I also have scheduled two days a week for scrap booking now that my son is in preschool four days a week.
I thought I would share some of my favorite layouts from this album. Every album I learn something new and I like the way that my album changes. I have come a long way in scraping and well I like it a lot. I like the clean lines and simple look.

2011 ended up being 2 albums as I like to take a lot of pictures. (looks like 2012 will be 2 as well.)
so I ended the first book with our family picture from that year and started the next book with my sons picture. So here are the layouts I did for them.

I used Close to my heart September's stamp of the month,  for the title of this page.
Simple but yet nice.

I just love this picture of my son. He was just about to turn 1. Time has flown by he just turned 4 this summer. The title came from Boys will be Boys Cricut cartridge.

Hope you have enjoyed looking at these layouts. I have a few more to share and as I start my 2012 album I will post those as well.
